1989 Searay 230 Weekender w/7.4L Mercruiser Bravo I (2nd Owner, 292 hrs, Mechanic Owned since 2012!)
This boat has been garage kept since day one and it shows! All original Sunbrella snap-on cockpit cover, bimini top and full canvas enclosure. Have a brand new (never used) custom trailer cover. My father (founder of Bart’s Marine Services) purchased from original owner (2012) when we discovered it was taking on water due to a rotten transom. Below is a list of all the restoration work completed in 2014 by Bart’s Marine Services (most of the parts replaced were done as preventative maintenance items while the transom was being replaced):
- New Transom, Stingers, and Swim Platform Repair (can send pics of build upon request)
- New Bellows, Shift Cable, Trim Senders, Pivot Shaft and Pivot Shaft Seal
- New Steering Cable
- New Control Box and Control Box Cables
- New Starter and Starter Slave Solenoid
- New Snouted Engine Coupler (eliminates coupler spline failure)
- Tune-up (cap/rotor/plugs)
- New Edelbrock Marine Carb (converted from Q-jet) and New Fuel Pump
- New Alternator
- New V-belts
- New Full Trailer Cover (never used)
- New Depth Founder
- New Porta-Pot
- Converted Trailer to Electric Brakes on Both Axles (New Races/Bearings and Seals)
