Bart Bomar's love and vast knowledge of the boating industry led him to open Bart's Marine Services in 2007. In addition to his unmatched mechanical knowledge, Bart's trademarks were the relationships he developed with his customers and his enduring sense of humor. He passed away in December of 2012 at age 53. We carry his spirit with us each day and work to preserve his legacy, which is best captured by the poem below:
Who has lived well, laughed often and loved much. Who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children. Who has filled his niche and accomplished his task. Who leaves the world better than he found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem or a rescued soul. Who never lacked appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it. Who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had.
